The Monroe City School Board shall select and contract with a depository which shall provide the most efficient and otherwise desirable financial services for the Board and School District.  Selection of the official depository shall be in accordance with statutory provisions.  All funds of the Board shall be deposited to account(s) of the Board in the official depository.


All monies retained in school buildings shall be safeguarded in secure areas at all times.  The Board shall assume no responsibility for funds lost in a school.  The School Board requires that school funds shall be deposited on a daily basis, whenever possible.  The recording of receipts and preparation of deposits shall be in accordance with regulations and procedures maintained by the Superintendent and administrative staff.
