USE OF PRIVATE VEHICLES FOR SCHOOL BUSINESS

AUTOMOBILE LIABILITY COVERAGE

The Monroe City School Board recognizes that employees may need to use their own vehicles for business related travel.  In order to receive reimbursement for travel expenses, employees shall be required to maintain adequate automobile insurance.  The amount of coverage shall be at least that required by state law or such higher limits as the Board may determine.  Verification of such coverage shall be submitted to the Board before commencing any Board related travel or being eligible for Board reimbursement of travel expenses.
