17:52.2    Lafayette Parish School Board; election of members; terms

<Section effective January 1, 2019>

Notwithstanding the provisions of R.S. 17:52 and any other provision of law to the contrary, members of the Lafayette Parish School Board shall be elected at the gubernatorial elections. The members of the school board shall serve four-year terms beginning January first following their election.
